An Innovative Approach to Meeting the Community’s Needs
In 2001, the first phase of our capital campaign was conducted with tremendous success. The community raised almost $4 million for a new facility. Due to unfortunate circumstances, the YMCA was not able to complete the work on the original site. Now, five years later, we face a new opportunity. The YMCA recently purchased a 77,000 square foot, recently constructed warehouse on seven acres at 401 Fairview Avenue in the Quakertown Borough for $3.3 million, which will serve as the shell for our state of the art facility. By using an already existing building and parking area, the YMCA will save approximately $4 million when all phases of the new facility are complete.

Please Help Us Grow!

To realize our dream, our facility costs are estimated at:

Building $3,300,000
Renovations $4,800,000
Equipment $200,000
Site Improvements $150,000
Planning, Design and Engineering Costs $550,000
Total Costs $9,000,000

Funding sources are projected at:

First Campaign $6,000,000
Mortgage $1,500,000
Second Capital Campaign, Foundations, Government Grants $1,500,000
Total Funds $9,000,000

You can help us grow by making a tax deductible gift or pledge to the Capital Campaign. There will be a number of naming opportunities and all gifts will be recognized. Gifts above $1000 will be permanently remembered on our commemorative wall. Cash donations can be pledged over a three or five-year period, giving you the opportunity to give a little more than you might consider for a single year donation. We also will accept and bill your credit card as designated.

For those considering donations of securities or other property, we suggest you review your donation with your tax advisor to determine the best method of giving to enhance your tax benefits.

If you are interested in contributing to this project, please complete our pledge card and return via fax or mail. this project, please complete our pledge card and return via fax or mail.
