Registration for School Age Programs begin in early June.

Our program follows the Department of Public Welfare and Keystone STARS’ requirements for teacher qualifications. Classroom aides are at least 18 years of age, have at least a High School Diploma, and FBI and criminal history checks. Our teachers have at least an Associate’s Degree in early childhood education.

Meet Our Staff

Ashley Herrington, Child Care Director
Ashley has a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood and Family Development from Missouri State where she played division I field hockey. She has 4 years child care experience. Ashley was recently married, purchased a home, and has a labradoodle/golden retriever named Boomer. She loves to relax, watch sports, coach and spend time at home.

Stephanie Weachter, Administrative Assistant
Stephanie has an Associate Degree in Computer Application Management and an Associate Degree in Accounting. She is married with two children, Maci and Ty. "I love working at the YMCA with the children and helping the community."
Center Security
The Upper Bucks YMCA is committed to providing a secure and safe environment while your child is with us. All of our doors are locked between the hours of 9:00 am and 4:00 pm. For entry into the building, a keypad is located on the exterior door for you to contact a child care employee. Once inside the building, your child’s classrooms are also locked and a keypad entry system is in place. You, and whomever you name, will be given a code to gain access to the classrooms.
