Become a Volunteer
Recognizing that most members of society have a desire to make a difference in their local communities, the Upper Bucks YMCA welcomes volunteers. Volunteers may serve on committees of the board of directors to help implement YMCA policy and plan for the future. Many volunteers instruct youth sports or teach swim lessons. Some of the organization's volunteers are looking to fulfill requirements, such as internship requirements set by colleges or high school graduation projects. All who volunteer at the Upper Bucks YMCA impact the lives of children, youth and seniors in a most positive way. All volunteers are screened and, depending upon the type of volunteerism, may be submitted to a child abuse clearance or criminal background check.
