The Upper Bucks YMCA is a not-for-profit organization established
in 1968 to serve the local communities within our service area,
encompassing the Pennridge, Palisades and Quakertown school districts.
We do so with a wide variety of programs and services offered at
one of our three YMCA buildings as well as various other locations
throughout the region.
Support for the Upper Bucks YMCA comes from membership fees, program
fees, private and corporate donations and from the Bucks County
United Way. The Upper Bucks YMCA is committed to the communities
we serve and because of this, no one will be turned away due to
their inability to pay, based upon the availability of funds. Scholarship
applications are available to all at the courtesy desk. During
the 2007-2008 fiscal year, the Upper Bucks YMCA awarded over $200,000
in membership and program assistance to community residents. We welcome and appreciate
your contribution to support our efforts to ensure that no one
will ever have to be turned away because of his/her inability
to pay.
Our Mission
To put Christian principles, including honesty, caring, respect
and responsibility, into practice through programs that build healthy
spirit, mind and body for all.
